These thin, tube-like instruments, with a light and lens for viewing, are used to diagnose and treat a variety of problems in the urinary tract. For example, in the case of ureteral stones, the urologist is able to look at an image of the inside of the ureter on a computer monitor, locate the stone and remove it. Cost for two: $22,840.
